Reef Invertebrates

There are countless species of marine invertebrates in a reef aquarium - some large and spectacular, some very small, some brightly colorful, some almost invisible. Some are permanently attached, others are very mobile. Every time you look at the reef, it is different...these images may give you an idea.

and draw them into its mouth

A small section of an established reef with green zooanthus,
feather worms, a blue starfish, and many more invertebrates.

A beautiful, tree-like soft coral, that "wilts" when the lights go out
and awakens when they come on again.
A cleaner shrimp, who makes a living by eating parasites off fish
and other animals in the aquarium.

A coral conglomeratewith numerous living, reproducing,

invertebrates fixed to the substrate or freely moving over it's surface.
You have to look closely to see all the variety and action.
