Red and Blue Mushroom Anemones, Discosoma sp.

	Mushroom anemones are generally colorful and hardy and come in a variety of colors and textures. Most are a good choice for the beginning reef aquarist and readily reproduce in the aquarium. These mushrooms are larger than a silver dollar in size and usually grow on a piece of rock or shell. Blue, red, and neon green polyps are more expensive than other colors. Prices start at $45 per colony.
