Purple Sponge

This sponge is very delicate and delicately colored. It appeared in a shady place near the bottom of a reef and is spreading over live rock covered with zoanthids. Generally, if you have quality live rock and a thriving reef, you will have sponges! But.....if you have angelfish, you probably won't have sponges!
